Regional Bishop
Dr Wallace Pratt
Wallace Pratt is the Presiding Bishop for the Church of God of Prophecy in the region of Idaho, Oregon, Utah and the Navajo Nation. He was born in a Christian home and has served the Lord since he was 8 years old.
He has been married to his wife Judy since August 21, 1971. They have two daughters. Their daughter Cherry is married to Lance Daniels and they have three sons named Nolan (who is married to Mikenna), Matthew, and Ryan (who is married to Madi). Their younger daughter Melissa has two children named Micah and Katie. They all reside in Salem, Oregon.
Dr. Pratt attended Tomlinson College and graduated in 1970. He received his certification as a licensed and registered marriage counselor from Hartnell College in Salinas, California in 1978. He earned two Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Biblical Studies and Pastoral Theology from Colorado Christian University in 1989. He went on to receive a Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary in 2000, as well as a second Master of Arts Degree in Religion from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2016. His first doctorate (PhD) was earned from Trinity Theological Seminary (Religion and Culture) in 2004. Dr. Pratt earned his second doctorate (DMin) from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Global Pentecostalism on May 11, 2019.
Dr. Pratt was licensed as a minister in the Church of God of Prophecy in 1970 and was ordained as a bishop in 1977. He served as a pastor for 33 years. Beginning in 2004, he has served 20 years as the regional bishop of Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and the Navajo Nation. He is also an adjunct professor with Spirit and Life Seminary, a church planter, and a “pastor of pastors” in the IOU region. His ministry and teaching has spanned five continents and 48 nations.
